Camp Thabo Sefolosha
First organised in the summer of 2007, the « Camp Thabo Sefolosha » will run its 12th edition during July 2018, in Blonay and St-Légier, VD, Switzerland.
During two weeks, campers will be able to train with professionals coaches, improve their skills, make new friends and share unforgettable memories with Thabo and the camp staff. On top of practising basketball, the camp offers initiation to other sports such as dance, yoga or French boxing, for example, all courses being given by professionals. Activities such as going to the swimming pool, PlayStation Games or streetball tournaments guarantee that your child will have a lot of fun while learning new skills from one of the best basketball players in the world.
All the campers receive a Nike package which includes a camp t-shirt, short and jersey as well as a pair of socks. On top of that, each camper will receive a basketball.
A typical day at the camp:
7:00-7:45 – Wake up (all broad campers)
7:30-8:30 – Breakfast (all broad campers)
8:45 – Half broad campers arrive
9:00-9:45 – Warm-ups
10:00-11:30 – Individual practices
11:45-13:00 – Lunch
13:00-15:00 – Other sports/hobbies/practice with Thabo
15:15-17:30 – Team practices
18:00-19:00 – Dinner
19:00-21:30 – Game tournament
19:45-21:45 – Departure of half broad campers
21:30-22:30 – Bedtime (all broad campers)
Who is Thabo:
Thabo Sefolosha was the first Swiss-born basketball player to be selected in the NBA back in 2006. He first played for the Chicago Bulls (2006-2009), then the Oklahoma City Thunder (2009-2014, they played the NBA finals in 2012), and then the Atlanta Hawks (2014-2017). He is now playing for the Utah Jazz.
