Gstaad Summer Leadership Camp

The Gstaad Summer Leadership Camp, offered by SILC Academy, in the heart of the Gstaad Valley promises a true summer camp feeling for students from all over the globe.

Join the 2-week summer camp in the most scenic place of Switzerland in the Gstaad Valley. Just a doorstep away from the most spectacular activities, this summer is set to be an amazing one. The region presents an array of experiences for the lovers of adventures. Wonderful mountain views, typical Swiss chalets and picturesque villages and towns of the Gstaad Valley allow students to enjoy a unique adventure.

Unforgettable activities

Each day is unique on its own. Students indulge in the most outstanding activities during the 2 weeks. They will embark on a range of adventures from going up to 3000 metres in elevation glacier to canyoning in the Swiss wilderness and Via Ferrata in the Swiss Alps. The variety is a guarantee that there will be activities for everyone. For the lovers of more extremes – zip lining, bridge swing and river rafting. For the lovers of cities and cultural emblems – city trips and excursions. For the lovers of nature – stargazing, hiking, campfire and more!

21st Century Skills

The programme is offered by highly skilled professionals that work with students throughout the year. The SILC Academy curriculum integrates the most fun activities with leadership workshops through which students learn while doing. Each day students experience something new, enhance their abilities and develop in an inspiring way. Students learn about Goal Setting, Choices, Prioritisation, Teamwork, Global Citizenship, Communication, Public Speaking and more.

Accommodation

The campus is located in the picturesque village of Château d’Oex that presents an array of exciting experiences. Students are accommodated in luxurious, comfortable, and ensuite bedrooms. The region’s charm stems from the mountain views and the traditional Swiss chalets that add to the special atmosphere that the surroundings provide. Nestled between the sophisticated town of Gstaad and renowned for its famous cheese – Gruyères, some of the most stunning places await students to explore, cherish, and embrace.
