Les Roches Global Hospitality Education
Les Roches has campuses in Switzerland, Spain, China, and the United States – key international hospitality business hubs. Your international network is enhanced through professional internship semesters and through living and working with a global student body.
From introducing the latest teaching methods to developing new programs, Les Roches is committed to supporting innovative approaches across all its campuses. At our Innovation Lab in Switzerland, students can leverage the latest technologies, such as 3D printers and multimedia tools, to build product prototypes, apps and more.
Empowering students to achieve their goals is a core objective at Les Roches. Students learn to take initiative and become leaders both inside and outside the classroom. Through outstanding curricula and on-campus activities, Les Roches is dedicated to developing entrepreneurial talent and providing opportunities for students to turn their concepts into reality.
BACHELOR DEGREE IN GLOBAL HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT
Our program gives you practical and professional experience along with the cultural fluency and business management skills to start a great career.
When you do kitchen duty, for example, your learning goes beyond culinary art. You learn team management, logistics and financial planning. You develop industry-demand soft skills, such as flexibility, problem solving, communication, timekeeping and precision. You get a chance to put these management and leadership skills into action during your two international internships — in any sector or industry, in almost any country around the world.
You learn about innovative business practices through personal interaction with disruptive companies and leaders. Invited guest speakers and visiting companies bring their industry expertise to you on campus. Meanwhile, Les Roches provides opportunities for you to visit leading businesses in hospitality and beyond. For example, faculty at Les Roches Chicago organize a trip to Silicon Valley, where students can experience innovation and startup culture in action.
In your final year, you can take a specialization or pick and choose from different course electives to customize your degree to your unique career pathway.
As part of your BBA program, you will be immersed in real business environments almost anywhere in the world. Two six-month professional internships are built into your curriculum.
Professional internships give you the opportunity to put into practice the skills and knowledge you acquire from your degree course. They also provide valuable experience to expand your industry networks, enhance your resume and increase your confidence of operating as a leader in the workplace.
Les Roches graduates go on to launch exciting and fulfilling careers all over the globe. This is not just because of the excellent resumes and professional experience they have, but also due to the dedicated assistance of counselors at the Careers Development and Industry Placement team.
The Careers team will help you transition seamlessly from hospitality bachelor degree to hospitality career. Our counselors organize for top-tier hospitality brands to recruit on campus, and they provide support — everything from resume creation to mentoring through the interview process and career visualization
We look forward to meeting you!
Sports and Societies
You can choose from many student-led clubs and societies on campus — or start a new one.
With all the charm of a Swiss village, our campus buildings also feature state-of-the-art learning equipment.
Learning facilities provide ample space for students to collaborate and get hands-on experience. Among our campus facilities, students have access to computer rooms, demonstration kitchens and a demonstration bar, a rooms division demonstration area, auditoriums, a library with study room and a media centre. The campus also has a dedicated Innovation Lab, where students can experiment with the latest technology for class projects, extracurricular activities and more.
The campus library contains an extensive collection of 10,000 books, professional magazines and audio-visual materials, while students can access more than 7,000 online journals and publications for research.
The Tacot Bar, B3 and Café du Village provide a relaxed space for students to chat over a drink or a meal, as do the restaurants, bars and clubs in nearby Crans-Montana.
The school organizes a variety of social and cultural activities in collaboration with students, both on and off campus. One of the most anticipated events of each semester is Cultural Night, a bi-annual culinary and artistic celebration of the nationalities represented at the school.
