A weekend at Titlis Adventure Park

Many years ago, Engelbert and his pack mule “Schmuggli” smuggled goods from Engelberg over the Joch Pass to Engstlenalp. Some of his treasure is still hidden around Trübsee Lake. Using the smuggler’s map, you can search for various objects at six stations around the lake. At the end, you can visit the new smuggler’s play area and enjoy a picnic at the trader’s camp. Once the puzzle has been solved, each child will receive a gift at the cable car valley station. www.titlis.ch 

Even James Bond had to start somewhere! At the Titlis Adventure Park, the superheroes of tomorrow can practice their skills on the slackline and trampoline, or take a leap of faith and jump three, four or six metres from the BagJump Tower onto the airbag below. www.titlis.ch 

Mum and dad will need to be quick if they want to get a picture of their child! The new “Trübsee Flyer” zipline descends around 40 metres in altitude. Children aged 8+ and adults can look forward to a thrilling ride as they whiz along the steel cable. www.titlis.ch 

Activities to Enjoy 

There are six rowing boats for hire at Trübsee Lake. Each boat has space for four people. Life jackets are provided. This activity is ideal for enthusiastic rowers as well as those who prefer a more relaxed pace of life – the choice is yours. www.titlis.ch

Kids can swing their way to happiness at the play area and then enjoy a hot dog or a delicious ice cream. The cable car ride from Engelberg up to Trübsee Alpine Lodge takes just ten minutes. If you’re keen to see new heights, then you’ll love the fabulous panoramic views of the glacier from the Titlis Panorama Restaurant at 3,020 metres above sea level. And because we all love a sweet treat every now and then, why not enjoy a delicious ice cream from the restaurant’s Mövenpick Ice Cream Bar. The Titlis Xpress cable car takes you from Engelberg to Stand station in around 30 minutes, with a stop at Trübsee.
