About A-Level & Pre-University Foundation Course in Cambridge
At Cambridge Seminars College, our core mission is to ensure every student can fulfil their academic potential and achieve their life aspirations. Alongside this, we see our students as unique individuals, and guide them in developing their self-confidence, maturity, knowledge, study and life skills.
We achieve this together through setting clear standards for behaviour, hard-work and learning, within a friendly, welcoming and supportive atmosphere. Our high-quality teaching, continuous assessment and progress tracking, combines with excellent academic guidance and pastoral support to cultivate a culture of success, support, and challenge. This ensures our students are well looked after, happy, and as successful as they can be in achieving their potential.
The A-Level qualification is the usual method of progression to UK universities and allows you to apply to any UK university to study any undergraduate degree. Students usually study three A-Level subjects, which are related to the subject they wish to study at university. We offer a full range of A-Level subjects and the College is a recognised A-Level examination centre. Being able to take the exams in the college at the end of the course is a big advantage for our students. The course is assessed through final examinations, which are usually taken in June.
Students can study A Levels with us in different ways, depending on their needs. The full course takes two academic years, but we can also offer a more intensive 18 month or one academic year option for students, though these are extremely demanding. We can also offer bespoke courses, which may focus on just one subject for a short, pre-exam boost.
If you are an international student who has finished their high school and hopes to enter a UK university, the CSC Foundation Programme is the ideal next step.
Our Foundation programme is accepted by more than 90% of UK universities, as well as universities in Europe and the United States.
