SBS Swiss Business School

Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSc)

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSc) at SBS Swiss Business School is a full-time program with 180 ECTS credits divided into three years of two semesters each. Classes are taught by qualified lecturers and take place on the SBS Swiss Business School campus in Kloten-Zurich.  Students also participate in internships, company visits and field trips, forums and symposia, guest lectures and much more.

The BSc program concludes with the submission and defense of a thesis on a business-related topic of the student’s choice.

We use an innovative approach to team-based learning because we strongly believe that this approach is appropriate for today’s progressive workplace. It is institutionally accredited under the Federal Law HEdA 2021-2028.

*Students who do not have one year of work experience in business are required to successfully complete the Career Advancement Program as part of the BSc degree program*

Master of Science in International Business (MSc)

The SBS Swiss Business School Master of Science (MSc) in International Business is a full-time, two-year, 90-ECTS program, which provides an in-depth examination of global business issues ranging from economics to cross-cultural leadership. The language of instruction is English.

It is a direct-entry program requiring no previous professional or work experience. We utilize an innovative approach to team-based learning as we strongly believe that this approach reflects today’s progressive workplace. The SBS Swiss Business School’s MSc in International Business is the program that will open the door to the international career opportunities that you have dreamed of by allowing you to understand, create and manage sustainable trans-national business strategies, join an international student body, and by preparing you for the world of global business.

Aside from the regular in-class sessions and coursework, SBS Swiss Business School also arranges, for its students, value-added activities including CV Writing and HR Workshops, Guest Speakers, Language Lessons, Company Visits, career opportunities, and more. Students benefit from these activities by learning more about industries, companies and business practices that are involved in these events, and through extending their networks and realizing opportunities that are in line with their career goals.

Flex MBA

The SBS Flex MBA is a part-time program developed to provide students with a special set of skills, and expertise in the field of International Management. In today’s dynamic marketplace, successful working professionals must be innovative and entrepreneurial, combining a general knowledge of business functions with specific skills in their area of responsibility.

The Flex MBA program allows students to keep their full-time job while studying and lets them apply the knowledge directly in the workplace.

The courses are held once a month on campus; on a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 09:00 – 18:00. This gives the participants the opportunity to meet with the lecturer and their classmates.

Online MBA

The growth of online learning as a successful education delivery method for professionals has been profound in the last 15 – 20 years. If traditional face to face programs require you to attend classes on fixed locations at fixed dates, online learning programs do not place such demands. If you are often on-the-go, travel frequently, or face constantly changing work commitments you may find the rigors of classwork impossible to manage. You can travel freely, relocate, or live in remote areas without interrupting your MBA studies. The online learning format suits students ‘ability to juggle the competing demands of work, family, and study. Ultimately, this depends on the type of person you are, your lifestyle, and how you prefer to learn. Our online education model provides you with true flexibility in your learning options. Not only is the SBS Online MBA truly portable, but it also provides you with greater flexibility than traditional MBA programs.

Executive MBA

SBS is among the first Business Schools in Europe to adapt its Executive MBA program towards the new demands of leading organisations and companies within the knowledge economy.

We need people who can lead to interdisciplinary and multi-cultural groups. Individuals who can combine knowledge across disciplines and who understand the role of the organisation in society.

In order to meet these demands, we have reworked our Executive MBA program, to reinforce participants with a set of skills to identify and creatively solve problems, add value and contribute to business and organisations in ways that are not routine

Doctorate of Business Administration Program (DBA)

The DBA Program is an integrated work and research program for management practitioners and professionals who are oriented towards making a significant contribution to practice and policy. The program is designed to advance their professional development in the business arena by extending their management knowledge and equipping them with broad research and process management skills, enabling them to make a key leadership contribution to their chosen fields. The program may be completed in a minimum of three years.
