The Ostrava International School (TOIS)
Discover. Connect. Achieve.
Our Mission Statement is simple, yet profound. For the roughly 200 families, and 50 teaching staff members that make up the TOIS Community, those three words are drive forward everything we do.
As an International Baccalaureate World School, we are part of a community that places a strong emphasis on the balanced, holistic growth of the child. We believe strongly that when leaners are in safe, respectful and supportive environments, then meaningful, challenging learning can be unleashed. And with such a diverse community of nationalities, languages, beliefs, and backgrounds, those learning opportunities for TOIS students are even more enriched, and provide an even stronger base for life in the Global Village of the 21st Century.
We strive to create opportunities for our learners to be awed by discovery, to make connections with their inner lives and the world around them, and to challenge themselves to set goals and achieve them, particularly if it means making mistakes, reflecting, and trying again.
Academically, the results of our IB Diploma Programme graduates are consistently above the world average. In terms of the personal growth that our students experience, the results are immeasurable.
