Family Hike “Alpenzauber- Weg”
The Alpenzauberweg is an exciting, easy hike that will delight young and old alike (approx. 2.5 hours). It leads from the Rinderberg over the Hornberg to the Horneggli and offers exciting discoveries along the way. The hiking trail starts in Zweisimmen, where the gondola takes you up the Rinderberg in comfort. The first highlight awaits the children there: olga’s cowshed, the indoor experience on the Rinderberg. Here they can playfully learn where milk and cheese come from.
The hike is accompanied by the family mascot “Saani”, the little white goat, and her friends. They tell exciting stories about alpine living and impart interesting knowledge. An unforgettable nature experience for the whole family!
XXL-Fondue Caquelon
In the holiday region Gstaad, seven XXL- Fondue Caquelons invite you to enjoy the natural surroundings. These oversized wooden caquelons can be reached via varied hikes and are located at vantage points with breathtaking views over the region. The matching fondue backpack can be conveniently pre-ordered from the dairy. It contains everything you need for a perfect fondue experience. So, nothing stands in the way of an enjoyable fondue with the whole family!

The “Seebergsee” in the regional nature park lies on the plateau (1831 meters above sea level) between the Diemtigtal valley and the Simmental valley. The idyllic “Arnensee “is a jewel in the Saanenland: swimming in small bays, fishing, barbecuing at well- equipped fireplaces and various hikes offer pure summer enjoyment away from the hustle and bustle.

With the outdoor pool in Saanen Zweisimmen or the “Piscine” in the Gstaad Palace, there is also the opportunity to cool off in an outdoor pool. With slides or a diving board, children can have a great time.
An Experience for the Whole Family
In summer, saani’s family program provides plenty of fun, games and adventure. It offers nature-related experiences for the whole family, for example a guided tour of the cheese grotto or an exploration of the “Lauenensee” nature reserve.
Participation in the saani’s family program is free with the Gstaad Card, but advance booking is required.
