College & Lycée Saint-Charles, Academic Summer Camp

The College & Lycée Saint-Charles was founded in 1897 in the town of Porrentruy in the canton of Jura in Switzerland. We welcome 200-day and boarding students from primary to high school. The Swiss curriculum is taught bilingually in French and English from age 10 to 18, leading to the Swiss Matura certificate in French or bilingual French and English. Our school is state and nationally recognized and provides automatic entry to Swiss university. The Swiss matriculation examinations are taken on campus.

As an IB World School, we offer the Middle Years programme in English in Year 8, 9 and 10 and the Diploma programme in Year 11 and 12. We are one of the best boarding schools in Switzerland with a unique approach to teaching and learning where all students can succeed in a caring, optimistic and encouraging environment.

We offer an academic summer camp with small class size (10 or less students) based on language integrating digital marketing, design and social media. 30 hours of English language, 10 hours of digital marketing and design with 30 plus hours of afternoons and evening activities, plus weekend activities and excursions. Campers will stay in our beautiful twin rooms, enjoy three lounges and common areas, high quality meals prepared each day by our French Chef. Insurance and laundry are included. The weekend activities include lake sailing, paddling, tennis, basketball, hiking, horse riding, swimming, movie nights, board games and trips to the most prestigious Swiss cities such as Genève, Zurich and visit the famous chocolate and cheese factories.

4 Extraordinary activities can be organized for an additional price, Hot Air balloon tour of central Switzerland, trip to Paris and Disneyland, weekend trip to Germany and Europa Park and you can make your own Swiss Watch with a renowned Master Watchmakers to leave the camp with a unique premium Swiss watch piece made by you.
