About AMADEUS International School Vienna

AMADEUS Vienna is the only school in Austria—and one of only three in Europe—to offer all four IB Programmes (PYP, MYP, DP, and CP).

Nestled in the heart of Vienna, the “world’s most liveable city“, the School campus is just a short tram ride away from the city centre. AMADEUS Vienna is a full IB continuum School offering a Reggio Emilia-inspired Kindergarten and all four IB Programmes, catering to students from 3 to 18.

For the Early Years, our Kindergarten Programme accommodates ages 3-6, while the IB World School offers the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP).

Further striving for Educational Distinction, the School introduced the IB Career-related Programme in Music/Art&Design that offers students a personalised education with a more practical focus on specific fields of study. This is the perfect pathway for students who wish to become professional musicians or aim to study at a university level. In addition, the IBCP Business programme is planned to launch for the 2026/27 academic year.

Along with the IB Programme, the School also offers a unique opportunity for students to develop their artistic talents through the integrated Music & Arts Academy. Catering to young musicians at every stage of their development, the academy offers classes at Foundation, Advanced and Professional levels. Our students have the opportunity to be under the tutelage of distinguished instructors, benefiting from individualised lessons and seizing various practice and performance opportunities.

As Vienna’s only international boarding school, the School brings together students from around the world in an inclusive and culturally diverse community. A strong sense of care and belonging supports student wellbeing, with a focus on healthy living, physical activity, and social connection.
