Founded in 2014, ipso! International School Rheinfelden has grown into one of the region’s most vibrant bilingual learning communities – international in its aspirations, local at heart. We welcome children aged 18 months to 16 years from local and international families alike, offering a full-day school experience that combines academic excellence with a warm, familial atmosphere.

As an accredited IB World School, we unite the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) with the Swiss National Curriculum of the Canton Aargau – giving every child flexible pathways both within Switzerland and beyond.

From Our Early Learning Center to Secondary School

We accompany children every step of the way:

• Bilingual Daycare Center (Ages 18 months – 4): Play-based, bilingual Kita with Swiss-licensed staff, very small teacher-student ratios and flexible care options from 7.30 to 18.00.
• Kindergarten (Ages 4 – 6): IB PYP and Lehrplan 21 combined, with daily outdoor learning and weekly Forest School sessions in all weathers.
• Primary School (Ages 6 – 12): Full-day, bilingual learning across Grades 1 to 6, aligned with the academic requirements of Canton Aargau.
• Secondary School (Ages 12 – 16): Bilingual Secondary School Grades 7-9, with three signature programmes – ipso! Sciences, ipso! Life and ipso! Career – preparing students for academic and vocational futures with confidence.

Beyond the Classroom

Learning does not stop when the school day ends. Our dedicated after-school team offers structured activities in arts, sports and crafts, alongside a rotating schedule of specialist clubs including robotics, music, chess and digital exploration – all driven by the interests of the students themselves.
