Founded in 1909, SHL Schweizerische Hotelfachschule Luzern is one of the two original Swiss hotel management schools and offers a «Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management», in cooperation with and awarded by the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Lucerne (HSLU).

The Bachelor’s degree is accredited by the Swiss federal government and in compliance with the Bologna Declaration. The students are also conferred the Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education in Hospitality Management, awarded by the SHL.
