St George’s International School Switzerland
Founded in 1927, St. George’s International School is a premium day and boarding school for boys and girls from 18 months to 18 years old, comprising over 60 nationalities. Located in Montreux, the school has magnificent views of the Alps and Lake Geneva.
St. George’s International School has grown to become a well-recognised international school with small teaching groups and individual attention regarding academic programmes, career advice and structured pastoral care.
Junior school children follow a bilingual programme entitled ‘Learning Means the World’. Middle and Senior students can choose among the Pre-Diploma, the IGCSE, the IB Diploma and the General Diploma programmes. Additional languages such as Spanish, German, Russian and Chinese can also be learnt and practised daily.
St. George’s provides a holistic approach which encourages all students to challenge themselves and develop their confidence in the three pillars of the Inspired vision; the academic, sporting and artistic fields.
The mixed day and boarding structure of the school provides a positive atmosphere amongst the students. The dedicated teaching staff and specialist teachers play an important role in our students’ successes which are reflected on the IB and IGCSE results. St. George’s offers a flexible approach, with Flexi, weekly and full boarding options to suit the needs of each family.
