IBWISE – Summer 2025 – Leadership + CAS Trip in the Austrian Alps

Since opening in 2006, IBWISE has established itself as a world-leading provider of exceptional IB-revision courses.

This IBWISE Leadership + CAS trip offers a one-of-a-kind immersive cultural experience taking place in the Austrian Alps. All students receive a certificate certifying the time they have spent volunteering for resumes and university applications in the future.

The IBWISE Leadership + CAS Trip in the Austrian Alps

Runs for six days, in which students are immersed in the old Austrian culture & traditions of a mountain village, are invited to bake brown bread on a traditional farm, learn about some of Austria’s oldest trades, and walk breathtaking mountain hikes with our nature guide. Volunteering opportunities include working in a kindergarten, assisting in a traditional Austrian inn, and helping in the nature park. Participating in this experience fosters and deepens each student’s understanding of alpine ecosystems, flora and fauna, Austrian mountain village culture, as well as the IB CORE.

At the end of the trip, each student receives a CAS certificate including exact dates, hours, and description of the accomplished programme and duties. This trip also can integrate seamlessly with our PRE-IB / MID-IB Summer Camp in Vienna, which begins on July 18th.
